Rainbow Flower Festival

A vibrant tapestry of colors at the foot of Mt. Fuji.

Tour Overview

Held at the same venue as the spring Shibazakura Festival (Fuji Motosuko Resort), the Rainbow Flower Festival takes place in late summer to autumn. The vast fields are planted with approximately 90,000 colorful flowers, including Zinnias, Rudbeckia, and Salvia, creating a stunning rainbow-like carpet.

This is one of the best locations to photograph Mount Fuji with a foreground of colorful blooms. The tour also includes visits to other natural wonders around the Fuji Five Lakes area, such as the Narusawa Ice Cave and Lake Saiko.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Ice Cave difficult to walk?

The ceiling is low in some places (91cm), so you need to crouch. It is not recommended for seniors with back or knee problems or pregnant women.

Is Mt. Fuji always visible?

Visibility depends on weather. Even if Mt. Fuji is hidden, the flowers themselves are very beautiful and worth the trip.
